COOLMORE’s Epsom Derby winner Ruler Of The World sustained an injury in the breeding shed over the weekend and will miss the remainder of the breeding season.

However Coolmore’s veterinary team are happy that the stalllion should be 100% for next year.

“Because many mares have been slow this spring, Ruler Of The World still had quite a portion of his 100-plus book left to cover so it’s unfortunate that he will miss the last month of the season,” said Coolmore’s Christy Grassick.

“We are doing our best to accommodate all the clients with mares yet to be covered and thankfully we have several attractive options for them to choose from.”
