ENTRIES for the Goffs London Sale have been announced by Goffs. The breeze-up sale, in association with QIPCO, features a total of 21 top class breezers from the leading consignors in Ireland and Britain who will be offered for sale on Monday, June 15th, the eve of Royal Ascot, at The Orangery at Kensington Palace.

The complete catalogue featuring breeze-up two-year-olds and horses in training will be published a fortnight prior to the sale, with the HIT section available to view online at goffs.com as they are confirmed.

The breeze-up section features an impressive sire list including Acclamation, Candy Ride, Canford Cliffs, Cape Blanco, Dark Angel, Dream Ahead, Dutch Art, Exceed And Excel, Exchange Rate, Giant’s Causeway, Haynesford, Intikhab, Kodiac, Lawman, Lope De Vega, Poet’s Voice, Speightstown, Tagula, and Zoffany.

Goffs chief executive Henry Beeby said: “The breeze-up vendors have really embraced the London Sale by providing an outstanding group of two-year-olds to rival any, and I am confident that the international buyers expected to attend this year will be more than impressed by the quality on offer.”

The highest price at any European horses in training Sale in 2014 was £1.3 million for Cappella Sansevero who was purchased by Qatar Racing at the inaugural London Sale.

Australian buyers were also to the fore and leading trainer Gai Waterhouse bought Royal Ascot contender Café Society for £330,000 and Pornichet for £425,000 and following last week’s Group 1 win in Australia is now a leading contender for the Cox Plate.

Applications for the horses in training section, for horses with and without Royal Ascot entries, will be accepted until Friday, May 29th. Those wishing to nominate should contact Nick Nugent on 086 2438899 or call Goffs on 045 886600.

The breeze-up will take place at 11am on Sunday, June 14th at Kempton Park Racecourse and the preview catalogue is now available to view online at www.goffs.com.
