EQUILINE were today announced as the official supplier of competition and non competition clothing to Team Ireland Equestrian in a new sponsorship agreement announced by Horse Sport Ireland.

In a deal brokered by their Irish agent Darragh Equestrian Solutions, Italian company Equiline becomes the official supplier of clothing to Team Ireland Equestrian for the duration of the current Olympic cycle leading up to Tokyo 2020.

On signing the agreement with Horse Sport Ireland, Equiline area sales manager for Ireland, Daniele Annibaldi said: “We are very proud to join with Team Ireland Equestrian in the lead up to Tokyo 2020. This is a fantastic opportunity to participate and contribute to the efforts of the athletes at high performance level, hopefully culminating in qualification for Tokyo 2020. We wish all involved the best of success – as we have witnessed in recent times.”

Darragh Equestrian Solutions Commercial Director, Dave Darragh, added: “We are delighted that we could attract a premier brand such as Equiline to become the national team partner and clothing supplier. The Equiline Team Ireland competition jackets are tailored and custom designed specifically for each Team Ireland Equestrian athlete.

This deal will ensure for the first time that senior Irish riders in Show Jumping, Eventing and Dressage, will wear exactly the same riding jackets and clothing when competing on Irish Nations Cup and Championship teams.”

Equiline is Italy’s leading manufacturer of accessories and clothing for the equestrian world, established in the early 80’s on the initiative of Paolo Marchetto, The Equiline brand stemmed from the riding passion of its creator as well as his attachment to his horses.
