IMAGINE opening a sales catalogue in Europe that had 39 sons and daughters of Galileo or Dubawi among their entries, selling over just two days?

Well next month the Japanese equivalent of these stallions, Deep Impact, will have 24 yearlings and 15 foals selling, three of which are siblings to Group/Grade 1 winners and 18 are sons and daughters of such winners. This year Deep Impact covered at a fee not far off €250,000 – the most expensive sire in Japan by some distance.
