IRISH Horse World reporter Judith Faherty has been keeping a keen eye on her former mount Newtown Jumping Jack, who has been flying the Irish Sport Horse flag in America.

Faherty bought Newtown Jumping Jack (ISH), fondly known as George, from Ballindine’s Eric Glynn, who is now stable rider for Ger O’Neill, as a seven-year-old and produced him up to 1.35m Grand Prix level. The combination also spent a season training with Irish international show jumper Niall Talbot in Switzerland and competed in the young rider division at the Dublin Horse Show in 2012.
