HERE is a terrific competition with fantastic prizes run by Skryne GFC, the heartbeat of the community in Skryne, Co Meath. The purpose of the superdraw is to raise funds to improve facilities at Skryne GFC for members, the people of the surrounding community and visitors to the club.

Tickets for the draw are €50 each and the first prize is a John Deere 6120M tractor with front loader supplied by Meath Farm Machinery, valued at €120,000 or a cash alternative of €100,000.

The winner of the second prize will become the owner of a racehorse trained by Gavin Cromwell for one year, a prize valued at €12,000 or you can take a cash alternative of €10,000 instead. But why would you when that horse could lead you many places. There are number of other prizes including bonus prizes for early bird ticket purchases.

Winner of Dancing with the Stars, Nina Carberry and former All Star All-Ireland winning footballer Trevor Giles are ambassadors for the draw and they have nominated three charities who will also benefit. A minimum of €10,000 will go to Jigsaw Mental Health Services, the Irish Injured Jockeys fund and the LauraLynn Children’s Hospice Foundation.
