CROWDS are expected to flock this weekend to Lisburn’s Eikon Exhibition Centre for the National Balmoral Championship (July 6th-9th) which offers a prize fund of over £65,000, the largest ever offered for a national show jumping event in Ireland.

The highly anticipated Premier National Grand Prix offers a substantial £25,000 prize fund, attracting a startlist of top riders.

Show directors John Curran, Paddy Ward, and Michael Caves and the SJI Ulster region committee members have been diligently working to bring forth an unforgettable equestrian experience for participants and spectators alike this weekend.

For amateur riders, there’s an exciting opportunity to compete for two top-class saddles worth over £3,000.

With over 250 stables on-site, all jumping events will take place on the two full-size grass arenas. Course builders Yann Royant (FEI Level 3) and John Doyle (Senior National), have designed courses set to test the skills and precision of riders.

Attendees can also explore an array of equestrian trade stands while on-site catering has been significantly improved, providing a delightful dining experience for visitors.

The arena party, provided by Nigel Jess, promises to keep the atmosphere lively and entertaining throughout the championship.

Membership plays a significant role in running the championship smoothly, and the event is proud to be run by its dedicated members.

The National Balmoral Championship extends its sincere appreciation to all sponsors for their generous support of this prestigious event.
