KEY To My Heart ran away with the listed honours in the Queally Group Naas Irish EBF Naas Oaks Trial.

Donnacha O'Brien stole a march on the opposition two and a half furlongs out on the daughter of Galilleo, trained by his father Aidan, after Furiosa had made the running into the straight.

The move proved a wise one with Key To My Heart (7/1) pulling clear to score by two and three-quarter lengths from Bloomfield, the 3/1 favourite. Elizabeth Browning was a length away in third.

"She quickened up nicely and it was a good performance. I was travelling well and I said I'd try and stretch them early in the straight," said the winning rider.

"It's great to get a listed race win for a well-bred filly like this, and she's a very valuable broodmare now. I was happy to go along (in front) myself but Niall (McCullagh) wanted to go so it was ideal to get a lead on her."

Aidan O'Brien also won the two-year-old maiden with 5/6 favourite Butterscotch, who was ridden by Seamie Heffernan, and the final race on the card – a mile maiden – with 9/10 favourite Pocketfullofdreams, in the hands of Ana O'Brien.

Trainer Michael Halford and jockey Shane Foley combined for a double, with Yulong Xionghu (2/1) taking the seven-furlong Sallins Parish Maiden and Claregate Street (5/1 joint-favourite) landing the Two-Mile-House Parish Handicap over 10 furlongs.
