THE old adage ‘a problem shared, is a problem halved’ certainly rings true for leading National Hunt rider, Mark Enright, who has found that the racing community have rallied around him, following his recent admission that he has been battling depression.

The 22-year-old Limerick man went public about his illness last month, feeling there was little point trying to hide it, in a sport where rumour and hearsay often run rife.
