AN 11th hour reshuffle of both the judging panel and the chair of the Clifden’s world famous Connemara Pony show next month has triggered a wave of controversy.
The staging of the much-loved annual Connemara Pony Show at the Clifden showgrounds is in doubt after an issue with the warm-up sand arena was brought to light.
The top price of €13,600 and the clearance rate of 75% at Clifden last week set a high standard for the year ahead, reports Lesley Hunter-Nolan
