IN a week when Tattersalls and Dubai Duty Free affirmed their support for the Curragh’s first three classics of 2018, I caught up with the racecourse’s CEO Derek McGrath to check on the progress of the redevelopment of Ireland’s flagship track.

We started with the news of the classic support. “We are very grateful to all our partners that have committed to continue with us and we are hopeful of some growth in this area. We will have more news on the sponsorship front over the coming weeks,” McGrath said.
