THE Listed Grabel Mares’ Hurdle is named in honour of an outstanding hurdler of the past, and though it remains to be seen if its recent winner Whiteout will prove to be as talented, the four-year-old has done little wrong so far.

She raced in Austria and Germany before winning a claimer over 15 furlongs at Maisons-Laffitte last year, and then made her first start for the Willie Mullins stable a winning one when taking a maiden hurdle at Gowran Park in February.
