NEXT week’s Dublin Horse Show has attracted its usual large entry from Northern Ireland, throughout all the sections, with a good-sized representation in Saturday’s Irish Thoroughbred Marketing racehorse to riding horse class.

Among those taking on last year’s winner, Don Cossack, is Dublin regular, the now 19-year-old Mossbank. Not only is the Kadeed gelding produced in Co Antrim by Alistair McDonald and ridden by his neighbour, Chloe Thompson, but the five-time track winner was bred in Co Down by Billy McGladdery.
