FOR the second time in three years, Barry McHugh won last Saturday’s Listed Redcar Two Year Old Trophy on a horse trained by his boss, Richard Fahey.

In 2017, the pair combined to strike with the 4/1 favourite, Darkanna, and this time their winner was the even shorter-priced market-leader, Summer Sands (11/8), one of three horses in the race for the Co Louth-born trainer, who was bringing up a treble at the north Yorkshire track.
