THE shutdown in Irish racing last Tuesday week was bad news for all but came at a particularly inopportune time for James Lambe who had a winner at Dundalk the previous Friday. Reverberation, who justified 7/2 favouritism in the opening mile apprentice handicap, won by a short-head under Gavin Ryan and in the colours of Armagh’s Richard Behan.

“I was delighted to get a winner for Richard who has been a great supporter of mine and has other horses with me,” said the Dungannon trainer. “It’s such a shame that we had to stop racing as my horses were just beginning to run into form and we have some nice horses to run. Hopefully, we will be back up and running before too long.”
