NORTHERN handlers once again held sway at last Saturday’s point-to-point in Kirkistown where the North Downs held the final autumn fixture in the region.

Among the four local wins, the most popular had to be that of the twice previously-raced Kates Hill in the Tattersalls Ireland mares’ maiden as the Paddy Turley-trained daughter of Jeremy is the last foal out of Hillmar, a Montelimar half-sister to Tammys Hill.
