THE Co Antrim-headquarted global healthcare firm Randox, sponsors of the Grand National at Aintree, supported last Saturday’s seven-race flat card at Sandown where there were eight winners, thanks to a dead-heat in the seven-furlong handicap.

The company will be staying closer to home next month as it is title sponsor for the Randox Antrim Agricultural Show which takes place in the beautiful grounds of Shanes Castle Estate on Saturday, July 27th. Alphabetically, the equestrian classes run from cobs to working hunters. There are two racehorse to riding horse classes (novice and open) and an in-hand class for thoroughbred youngstock (yearlings, two-year-olds and three-year-olds).
