THE Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary in Ballynoe has issued an appeal for funds and there are many ways to donate to the charity. Christmas cards are currently on sale, as are tickets for the Christmas ballot, while you also help raise funds if shopping online for food and drink by purchasing via @Give as you Live at places such as Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and M&S. The sanctuary caters for all animals, with an emphasis on horses and ponies and currently has 15 equines.
