WILSON Dennison was unable to win his own race at Broughshane on Saturday but at least his horses are running a lot better now as the season is coming to a close. His black and white quartered colours were twice carried to victory at this Mid Antrim fixture.

With Derek O’Connor otherwise engaged, Mikey Sweeney came in for the rides on the Loughanmore horses and, having dusted himself down following his unseating in the first, won the next two races on the Colin McKeever-trained pair of Eskylane (Albert Bartlett five and six-year-old geldings maiden) and Broomhill (Raymart adjacent hunts’ maiden).
