WHILE Brian Hamilton, Gary McGill and Rodney Arthur were on hand to greet their winners at Moira on Saturday, Caroline McCaldin’s husband Alan represented the Dromara trainer following the success of Ballela Storm in the ‘Conduit Standing at Tullyraine House Stud & Tullyraine Equine Clinic Mares Maiden’.

The September Storm five-year-old, who was having her sixth start, was partnered by Downpatick’s Ross McLeigh who secured his first winning ride by ‘phoning the trainer, who he had met one day at schooling races, and asking her to put him up.
