AMONG Joseph O’Brien’s many post-Christmas winners was Ash Hill who, sent off as even-money favourite, won the bumper at Leopardstown last Friday week in the well-known colours of Scottish owner, Ronnie Bartlett.

The 2014 the Aizavoski gelding was ridden by Derek O’Connor who had also partnered the bay on his racecourse debut at Punchestown in late November when he finished fourth of nine, beaten 13 and a half lengths, behind Battleoverdoyen.
