TRAINER Ado McGuinness and apprentice jockey Gavin Ryan combined for their third win of the week at Galway when Current Option landed the seven-furlong Ahonoora Handicap on Sunday.

They had already won the Colm Quinn Mile on Tuesday with Saltonstall and a handicap on Saturday's card with Sirjack Thomas.

Just as on Tuesday night, Sunday's win involved a close finish and the runner-up again was the Jessica Harrington-trained Njord.

Current Option was returned at 15/2 and won by a neck from the 7/4 favourite Njord. On A Session (12/1) was third and Magnetic North (14/1) finished fourth.

Jessica Harrington had two winners on the card, Ya Ya Baby in a two-year-old maiden, and Camphor in a 14-furlong conditions race.

Willie Mullins ended the week as top trainer, his 10th winner coming in the final race courtesy of Eight And Bob.
