JESSICA Harrington has set her sights on Irish Champions Weekend with Pincheck following his clear-cut victory in the Group 3 Invesco Pension Consultants Desmond Stakes at Leopardstown.

The four-year-old returned from a 90-day break in style as he triumphed by three and a quarter lengths under Colm O'Donoghue, seeing off British raider Masaarr in fine fashion.

Pincheck, a 10/1 shot, kept on all the way to the line and Harrington now has more big-race glory in mind.

"They went hard and it kind of suited him. He settled behind Donnacha, kicked off the bend and he was never going to stop," said Harrington.

"He loves it here. He won his maiden here and has been just touched off here a few times. I think it kind of suits him coming round the bend.

"That's brilliant to get. His owners Jon and Sarah Kelly are coming over for Champions Weekend so I better find something for him. I have him entered there (Boomerang Stakes).

"He's a miler and the reason I haven't run him all summer is because of the firm ground. He's a very big horse and probably would be all right on it now, but I'd rather keep him right.

"He's in Killarney next week but I'll give Marshall Jennings a chance there."
