LAST Goodbye (12/1) provided jockey Adam Short with the biggest win of his career in the €100,000 Grade A Chanelle Pharma Handicap Chase at Leopardstown.

Liz Doyle's charge looked a well-handicapped horse when scooting clear by nine lengths from Vieux Morvan.

Short's claim has now been reduced to 5lbs.

Doyle said: "We thought he had a big race in him based on his Cheltenham run where he met loads of interference.

"Adam gave him a great ride and it will be back to Cheltenham now, but I'm not sure for which race."
