ANTHONY Van Dyck produced a telling turn of foot to claim an impressive success in the Group 3 Japan Racing Association Tyros Stakes at Leopardstown.

Aidan O'Brien's charge was sent off the 8/11 favourite after running out an easy winner at Killarney last time and Ryan Moore was content to bide his time through the early stages as Copia Verborum set the early pace.

Turning for home in the seven-furlong heat, Copia Verborum was still in control and Moore appeared to be pushing along on Anthony Van Dyck.

However, the Galileo colt found his stride in the final furlong, breezing past Copia Verborum to win by four and three-quarter lengths. Bold Approach kept on to finish second of the five runners.
