IT was a day to remember for James Hannon who secured a first and fourth race double on the afternoon’s card. Handler Ian Power supplied Hannon with the first leg of his double in the Susan Long-sponsored four-year-old mares’ maiden with his daughter of Mahler, Boher Cailin.

Owned and bred by Martin Keating, the proprietor of Keating Horse Transport, the chesnut settled nicely in a mid-division position, before showing a good turn of pace to quicken and lead at the second last.
