THE second evening of the Festival got off to a decidedly eventful start in the EY Chase where the four runner field was reduced to just two after three fences when the favourite Pylonthepressure and Forza Milan departed. One of the remaining contestants Rebel Turn was then badly hampered by a loose horse coming to the fifth fence but was able to remain in the race.

The second favourite Westland Row (6/4) then took over in front for Denis O’Regan and he won this near two-and-three-quarter-mile event with plenty to spare.
