TRADITIONAL Irish horses are scoring highly on the eventing scene stateside so far this year, occupying several top placings in the training and novice horse ranks.

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) highest ranked novice (the equivalent of the Irish intro) horse after the winter in Florida is SBT Clover Road ISH TIH (by Road To Happiness TB), while second place goes toSir Earl Grey ISH TIH (by Sun Rich ID) and fifth place to Rock Ambassador ISH TIH (by Cruising’s Ambassador). First place in the training category, which is the equivalent of pre-novice in Ireland, goes to SBT Barolo ISH TIH (by Loughehoe Guy), while second place goes to Monatrea Xavier ISH TIH (by Riyalan TB).
