NEXT Saturday’s Tingle Creek Chase will be missing the two-mile star chasers following the revelation this week by trainer Nicky Henderson that Sprinter Sacre will not be ready in time for the Sandown race. The gelding has not raced since being pulled up last December at Kempton, after which he was found to have a heart murmur.

The news leaves the two-mile chasing division wide-open following the earlier news that Sire De Grugy will be on the sidelines until the new year with a hip problem.
