Toormore won all his three starts, scoring in the Group 2 Veuve Clicquot Vintage Stakes at Goodwood second time out and then romping home nearly three lengths clear of Group 1 winner Sudirman in the Group 1 Vincent O’Brien National Stakes at the Curragh, after leading all the way.

Retired to stand at Ballyhane Stud in 2006, Arakan has made an excellent start with his first five crops of runners but is still at a very modest fee. In his first season, 2009, he ended the year in sixth position among the leading first crop sires in Europe by prize money and he has had much greater success in the four years since then. He has sired the winners of 140 races and over €2,500,000, including the winners of no less than 13 Group races.
