The show jumpers had their training and arena familiarisation on Sunday night at the Baji Keon Equestrian Park.

The startlist forr Tuesday's first individual qualifier is now available. Darragh Kenny will be eighth into the arena with VDL Cartello; Bertram Allen and Pacino Amiro are 16th to go, while Cian O'Connor and Kilkenny are 25th to go. Some 73 combinations start the individual first round, with the best 30 qualifying for Wednesday's final. The first round of the team competition is on Friday.

Darragh kenny, Bertram Allen, Michael Blake and Cameron Hanley all travelled together from Amsterdam airport to Tokyo last week.

Bertram Allen is excited to get started at his first Olympic Games. He is the youngest Irish rider on the team. His 26th birthday was on Sunday.

Shane Sweetman managed to get to Sea Forest Island on Sunday to see some of the cross-country action and cheer on team Ireland.
