I rated it a Group 2 class performance. For quite a while Faydhan looked rather disorganised and had to be stoked up to gain ground from before halfway. He was really rolling in the final furlong where he powered away from his rivals to score by six lengths.

The big reason Faydhan was able to run away from his rivals looked to be superior stamina. He covered the last three furlongs 1.46 seconds faster than the runner up and 2.13 seconds faster than they managed in the handicap over the same distance.
