That’s what Ball Dancing (13-pace adjusted 19) clocked for the final furlong of the Prix de Royamount last week.

The early pace of the Prix de Royamount was ludicrously slow for the lightning fast ground. They ambled through the first 10 furlongs in 130.16 seconds. This on a card where the Prix du Jockey Club winner clocked 125.58 seconds when breaking the course record for 10 and a half furlongs.
