OPERATING on “1/10th of an optimum budget”, the Traditional Irish Horse Association (TIHA) held its AGM on Monday night in Portlaoise.

Chairing the meeting was its tireless chairman Hugh Leonard who mentioned some good prices obtained by traditionally-bred lots or out of TIH dams at the Goresbridge Go For Gold sales. Unavoidably absent, secretary Joan Bateman’s detailed report of 2019 activities was read by national council member Kevin Noone.
