WELL-backed even-money Perfect Woman completed a four-timer at Thurles on Thursday as the Mick Winters-trained mare followed up recent Clonmel, Sligo and Cork wins in the most valuable event of the day, the €16,000 Ballagh (Mares) Handicap Hurdle.

Ridden to all four wins by Mark Walsh, the daughter of Blueprint made virtually all and while strongly pressed by lost Book in the home straight, saw off that rival on the run-in for a length and three parts win. Afterwards Winters stated “ “When she gets there she keeps galloping and is a good even galloper with one rhythm. She is a basic ride and got it her own way out in front and is a great jumper. “What she lacks for in class she makes up for with her heart. She’s entered at Clonmel next Thursday but probably won’t run and might have a small break.
