THE Netherlands topped the medal table for the first time following the final day of action last Sunday at the FEI Para-equestrian dressage European championships in Deauville, while Irish riders scored three top-10 finishes at the French venue.

Kelly Horan recored Ireland’s best result, coming home in sixth place in the freestyle test 11 aboard her horse Arlande on a score of 68.50. Dutch rider Rixt Van Der Horst and Uniek Nop took the gold medal with their score of 79.00.
