THE fall-out from the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham came to a welcome end last weekend with pretty much everyone of the opinion that justice was done in the lifting of Declan Lavery’s ban.

But reading through all the comments and ‘evidence’ from different parties in the cold light a week later, you could draw conclusions that many things were missed amid all the reports and indignation, and that perhaps, decisions made away from the heat of the moment are more likely to be the correct ones.
