WITH the interference ‘rules’ again coming under scrutiny at the Curragh on Thursday, it is becoming past time that there needs to be a‘coming together’ by the officials to take a look at the many contentious incidents over the last six months and come to a conclusion, going forward, on what is an acceptable punishment for such incidents.

It can’t be good for racing to have so many different opinions on something that should be clearly defined in the rules. No one seems to know what is acceptable anymore. When is careless also dangerous?
