THE €3,150 Irish Sporthorse Studbook five-year-old grand final saw nine of the starting 23 supply fault-free rounds in challenging weather conditions. One of only two classes that ran on Sunday at the Meadows EC, the nine decided to divide when weather and ground conditions continued to deteriorate.

The nine were Declan McEvoy with More In Hope; Peter Smyth (Templepatrick Welcome Limmerick), Catherine Thornton (Currabawn Crazy Daisy), James Hogg (European Cruise), Cormac Rafferty (KMR Twilight), Lucy Buchanan (LCC Katenko), Damien Griffin (Lissyegan Geoffrey), Clem McMahon (Hilton Hashtag) and Mervyn Clarke with Thomascourt Senna.
