AS the ink was drying on this report, the interim top lot of the afternoon strode into the ring at Tattersalls. Bernard Cooke’s Bryanstown House Stud in Kilcock last year sold an Invincible Spirit filly out of the King’s Best mare Liscune for 600,000gns and this time her full-sister traded for 440,000gns.

Liscune is already dam of three stakes horses by the Irish National Stud veteran, Group 3 winner Music Box, stakes winner and group-placed Ektihaam and the stakes-placed Onlyhuman. The filly was the second purchase on the day by John Sykes and Woodford Thoroughbreds.
