THE largest single buying entity at the sale was Luke Comer, spending 946,000gns on 20 lots. They included a trio from Ballydoyle, headed by the 95,000gns sale of No Nay Never’s stakes winning three-year-old All The King’s Men, and Capri’s Group 3 winning full-brother Cypress Creek who cost 55,000gns. Also returning to Ireland is Giuseppe Garibaldi, a stakes-winning son of Galileo who was also placed multiple times at group level for John Oxx. He realised 65,000gns.

Formula One, a son of Frankel, won for Hugo Palmer and latterly for Jessica Harrington and Comer acquired him for 28,000gns, He also stuck close to home when paying 65,000gns for the Dermot Weld-trained, Group 3-placed son of Sea The Stars, Broad Street. This was one of a pair secured by Comer from Juddmonte’s draft, the other being 70,000gns purchase In Favour, a stakes-placed son of Frankel.
