AMELIA’S Dance, second two weeks before the sale on her debut in a Southwell bumper for trainer Peter Fahey, was easily the best lot on offer at Tuesday’s Tattersalls Ascot June Sale, and she duly lived up to expectations, selling for £90,000 to Michael Lynch.

The four-year-old daughter of Flemensfirth is out of a half-sister to the Grade 2 winning chaser Mister McGoldrick and she will now join the Co Monaghan yard of trainer Anthony McCann. She previously raced in the colours of Kildare Racing Club and was bred by Kieran Cotter.
