ON Friday evening the median for the entire sale was running at €12,000 which was well in advance of the corresponding figure from any of the last twelve November Sales. Admittedly this figure is subject to fluctuation when the final day is taken into account but it is, nonetheless, a telling indicator of how the sale has performed and the national hunt market is at a point where supply and demand are now well balanced.

The turnover for the four days of foals excceded the €10 million barrier for the first time since 2007, (when there was 954 more foals catalogued) and represented an improvement of 30% on last year'ss foal aggregate of €7,740,400.
