I BEGAN working in Nigel TwistonDavies’ in Grange Hill Farm in early September and by now I have settled into the rural part of the Cotswolds.

Although I spent quite a bit of time in Ballydoyle and was no stranger to early starts, now the alarm goes off at 4.15am each day. The prospect of mucking out six boxes before getting the chance to ride out means that you get a little extra enjoyment out of those four lots.
