AREA 2 is always the first to hold its Irish Pony Club Festival qualifier and did so on the Bank Holiday at CoilÓg where the winning Kildare duo of Holly Browne on Manusmore Result (Intermediate) and Alice Curley riding EE Parlanti Cruise (Open) claimed the first two tickets for the Dublin Horse Show Pony Club combined training championships.

Kildare members also won the Under 12s’ and Novice Festival qualifiers, thanks to Nia Webbon on Bobbyjo and Niamh Killaly on Dernakesh Darby Jessie, while the Newcastle Lyons Branch struck twice through Junior competitor Louisa Daisy Dalton on Frosthill Jackaroo and Zara Groves who topped the scores in the Under 10s’ qualifier with Kelly’s Young Hero.
