MIKE Lewis marked his return to the Irish show scene by producing Carnsdale Irish Times to win the Creightons of Finaghy hunter championship in the Main Arena at Balmoral Park last Wednesday evening.

If onlookers were surprised to see a small hunter win the coveted title, so too was Lewis. “I thought we would win our class, as he is very much true to type, but never thought we would take the championship. I think he could be the first small hunter to do so at Balmoral.”
