JOSEPH O’Brien completed a double at Sligo’s first meeting of the year when British import So I Told You struck first time out for the yard in the featured Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies and Mares Handicap.

The daughter of Gleneagles had won once from seven starts for Richard Hughes and started out off a mark of 80 on her Irish debut in the 10-furlong contest. Dylan Browne McMonagle settled his mount, owned by the Annus Mirabilis Syndicate, on the rail behind front-runner Hayyel and the pair got a nice split to dispute the lead passing the two-furlong pole.
