LAST week was the first low-key one in Britain since racing resumed on June 1st, with just a smattering of Group 3s and listed races.

Those Group 3s went to Tabdeed (Hackwood Stakes at Newbury), Eagles By Day (Silver Cup at York) and Queen Jo Jo (Summer Fillies’ Stakes at York), worth sectional ratings of 111, 113 (though muddling and possibly questionable) and 104 respectively.
