THE two-year-old with the fastest timefigure this century, Lady Aurelia, was back in action at Deauville and duly won the Group 1 Darley Prix Morny, if not in as scintillating style as her remarkable 127 figure in the Queen Mary Stakes.

The overall time was much quicker than the other two races at 1200 metres on the card, and is probably worth a 114 provisional timefigure. That does not tell the whole story for Lady Aurelia looked by winning by at least two lengths more than her winning margin over Alrahma until late on.
