A TRIO of winning jumps performances stood out on the clock at Navan last Sunday, each of them exciting for the future in their way.

First up was Apple’s Jade, who took the Grade 2 Lismullen Hurdle readily from Jer’s Girl, to whom she was conceding 7lb. The time looks smart, and was faster in terms of average seconds-per-furlong than that of Mengli Khan (116 timefigure) in winning the For Auction Novice Hurdle at shorter earlier on the card.
